Evergreen bans hazardous shipments from Asia

The following announcement was issued by Evergreen:

With recent dangerous cargo related maritime accidents, which has caused great loss and hardship to all concerned parties, Evergreen regrets to advise that all kinds of Dangerous/Hazardous caro will be banned on Evergreen Group Vessels from the Far East and India Sub-Continent to North America effective immediately.

Exceptions will be made for Dangerous/Hazardous cargo from Japan, Korea, Hong Kong, Taiwan, and Singapore.
